General information about this Surgery The VetCall Veterinary Surgery was established in September 1997 and has established a reputation for providing a high standard of animal health care, advice and modern veterinary services. The practice moved to refurbished premises at 113 Station Road in January 2009.
The practice is staffed by veterinary surgeons Stephen Posnett BVSc MSc(VetGP) MSc MRCVS and Ben Cranke BVSc MRCVS, Head Veterinary Nurse Kelly Hurren RVN, Sam Clements RVN, trainee VN Zoe, receptionists Kim and Hayley and practice manager Elsa. We actively undergo continuing education to enable us to keep up to date with the latest advances in veterinary practice. Changes in the veterinary world have sharpened our veterinary skills and business minds.
We are a full service surgery and our commitment to total animal care includes consultations, physical examinations, diagnostics and surgical procedures. The modern well-equipped theatre includes isoflurane inhalation anaesthesia and monitoring equipment suitable for vulnerable small animal. Pets recover in a heated and air-conditioned ward.
In common with all veterinary practices, we provide a year round, 24 hour Emergency Service for all our clients. Animals are seen at the VetCall Veterinary Surgery and you will not be directed to another surgery. 24 Emergency Service: phone 020 8529 4004
Our early opening hours allows for delivering and collecting pets, dispensing medications, booking appointments, accounts, food sales and enquiries. We are closed on Bank Holidays but we will see pets with real emergencies. Consultations in a private, air-conditioned consulting room with computerised records are by appointment only. This is to minimize waiting as we realise your time is valuable. Our primary responsibility is to help you keep your pet as healthy as possible. That is why much of the care we provide is aimed at protecting your pet from disease and having your pet vaccinated against contagious disease is still very important. Equally important is the early detection of disease. Our veterinary knowledge and skills are not just available for emergencies, nor is care restricted to sick animals. Injury and disease are major concerns of course but so is preventative medicine, regular health checks, guidance and advice.
We feel it is our obligation to you and your pet that we provide a progressive medical and surgical service. Fees are structured to support this service. Accounts are due for settlement at the end of a consultation, the discharge of your pet or upon collection of medicines and diets. We accept cash, credit and debit cards and personal cheques. Invoices are fully itemised. We will happily provide a written estimate for the probable course of treatment. Please bear in mind that any estimate can only be an approximate - a pet's illness may not follow a conventional course.
Owning an animal is a huge responsibility and it can be expensive. Insuring your pet provides peace of mind for you and allows us to give your pet the best treatment it deserves.
VetCall Veterinary Surgery enjoys a reputation for thoroughness and availability. We look forward to helping you enjoy the happiness and companionship that a healthy pet can provide.
