General information about this Surgery:

The Willows Veterinary Group have been treating local pets for over 48 years and the Hartford based Willows Veterinary Hospital is our largest surgery. Here our 5 highly experienced vets, 16 qualified nurses, and 7 friendly reception staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to your pet 24 hours a day.

We are one of the best equipped veterinary hospitals in the country and our extensive facilities include x-rays, an ultrasound, a fully equipped laboratory, and dedicated operating theatres. We further have specialists who are at the forefront of their field and all staff undergo continual development to keep up to date with the latest veterinary procedures, treatments, and techniques. It’s this expertise which leads practices across the United Kingdom to refer animals to us for treatment.

We understand that a visit to the vets is enough stress for both pet and owner and we have separate wards for dogs and cats to minimise this.

Willows Vet Hospital is also home to Oakwood Referrals; a specialist led multidisciplinary referral practice offering referrals with either RCVS and EBVS recognised specialists or RCVS recognised Advanced Practitioners in a variety of areas.

"Wouldnt go anywhere else"

My pup has had 3 surgeries, many many xrays and even more vet visits. We have been going since my rescue pup was 9weeks old. They have watched her grow and supported her every step. The reception staff feel more like family, they recognise her they ask about her when I just pop in to pick meds up, they make a fuss of her when it’s appropriate too and when it’s not they give us space. The vets and nurses are fantastic they listen and advise, they help me to do what’s right for my dog. They seem to have genuine love and concern for animals and they never let me feel like I was being a hysterical dog parent which I’m sure I was a few times. My dog pulls me down the driveway now to get in and see her friend. I wouldn’t trust any other surgery.

"Care"

I have had cats for a long time but when a situation arose where end of life was the only option, I received an unprecedented level of support which I will never forget. Thank you, Alan.

Now, I face problems with another much loved cat and I have again been given support to sort out what is causing the problem. Thank you Bruce.

These people care about animals and I would reccoment their services which come with a big dose of of care - for you and the patient.
