Took my jug dog for his castration on 20 november and he runs in to vets as always to fuss the staff, and they greet him with fuss and reassurance,and walked away with them not bothered at all .He was looked after impeccably kept me updated and dressed him in a surgical recovery suit,for discharge.the vet explained all his aftercare.Nero was well looked after.i would highly recommend and would never trust my fur baby with any other vets.thank you so much what a stunning committed and friendly team xx

"Neutering"

Had my 1 year old female XL bully sprayed at powis vets they were amazing made sure my angel was comfortable and made sure I understood everything before and after when it came to collect angel she's was happy and comfortable all staff were amazing... we had a follow up call from a vet nurse and she was also amazing full of advice and very kind thank you to everyone at powis vets

"Cruciate Ligament Surgery"

Would just like to express our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to all the lovely staff at Powis Vets who treated our dog, Forrest, for cruciate ligament surgery. All the staff from reception to nurses to Saul, the vet were all so professional and informative. They really put our minds at rest and we felt confident that we were doing the right thing for our lovely girl. We cannot praise the practice highly enough and would never go anywhere else as we have total confidence in their professionalism and amazing care, not only for the animals they treat but also for the owners who, like ourselves, will often be a little worried or upset, which is only natural when our pets are a member of the family. They are so empathetic and caring, cannot praise the whole team enough. Thank you to all!

Hannah visited our home to see our dog who we suspected was suffering from separation anxiety. Hannah gave us a programme and ongoing support. The programme was successful and we are extremely pleased that our dog no longer shows signs of suffering from anxieties at all! Worth every penny.

"Animal Behaviour Specialist"

We adopted a dog last April. She had been in a rescue centre for approximately 9.5 of her 10 years.
She was terrified. She had not been socialised with other dogs or humans.
We asked Hannah - the Animal Behaviour Specialist for help. Her advice was spot on. Our dog will never be a confident, exuberant dog. She is now however, content and happy to be around the family. She is pleased to see us when we come home and she even wags her tail. These may seem like small things but with Hannah's knowledge, understanding and support we now have a dog who is less afraid and loves a snuggle on the sofa.

"Behavioural help for our dog"

We initially had some aggressive behavioural issues with our young cockapoo which was causing disruption within the home with our older dog. We sought help and were referred to Hannah (Inskip) who visited us in our home and then provided a management plan and extensive follow up support via Whats App for a period of 3 months. We are immensley grateful to her as this has resulted in a significant improvement to the extent that aggressive outbursts are few and almost entirely predictable, with a much improved relationship between both dogs. Thank you so much Hannah. We wouid certainly recommend your input with other owners with similar issues.

my parents have always used this practice, so we naturally carried on with our own dogs. I also take my rescue hedgehogs there, which cannot be easy when all you can see is a ball of spikes. When our border collie, Meg, became ill her condition was handled impeccably and gave her another year of life. Only praise for the whole team.

The compassion and kindness shown to myself and my beutiful cat Ollie was outstanding. Ollie sadly had to be put to sleep . All the staff on duty that day (12/1/19) were wonderful and if I wish I could give this practice an award they truly deserve one.Thank you all

In the last couple of weeks Hannah and all the staff have been amazing. You have always been there to make sure that sam was given the very best treatment after he decided eating our net curtain was a good idea. After the much needed surgery on his intestines you gave him the best after care and we cannot fault any of it. You are all so friendly and welcoming and never make me feel silly if I phone with any concerns. We can’t thank you enough for getting our boy back to his hyper self. Thank you

Our five dogs and two cats have,over the last 30 years received the best of care from this practice. Everyone is great and they go the extra mile to care not just for our pets, but the owners too. Perfect as always for ferrets, I would not dream of going anywhere else for care for my beloved ferrets. Only problem is the staff will keep cuddling them, ah! They are perfect for ferrets and support Central Ferret Welfare continuously.

I have used Powis ever since I set up a ferret welfare. The staff adore ferrets, know how to handle them and are not scared of them as so many vets are. I always receive five star service and advice. I totally appreciate the fact that if you do not know you say so and look it up, when treating something very, very rare in ferrets. I could not ask for better vets! If you need a vet for ferrets, look no further!

Running a small ferret welfare/rescue we need a veterinary that that gives us a very good deal and Powis and Partners does just that. The vet's and staff have always been of the utmost help and nothing is too much trouble for them. A BIG thank you to you ALL for your kindness.

My dog was really ill, so I took her to get checked out at a local vets, to me they seemed more about the money so the the next day I phoned powis &partners; for a 2nd opinion, with in the hour she was seen then ,scanned, diagnosed with pyometia had her operation kept informed and back home the same day. Which cost me less than the other vet wanted for a scan, injection & drip.....10 out of 10 to powis&partners;

"Sad circumstances-great vets"

I frequently use this vets for my cats, spaying /chipping etc. I have always found them helpful and professional, and my cats have always recovered well. Sadly after one of my cats was knocked over by a car and killed, they were very kind and helped me in a difficult time. I was even sent a hand written "with sympathy" card which really meant a lot.

This is the very best Vets in the area.Ive have gone ever since first opened.So seen many vets here.Me personally prefer Cockburn.But I CANOT RECCOMEND THEM ENOUGH.They are caring and its not just about money like some other vets.
