"very ill cat"

Had to take my seriously unwell cat. She was treated with sensitivity by the vet called Kate (who has only been there since February). Her gentleness and understanding and treating of Sadie helped me in a difficult time. When the time came to put her to sleep it showed the faith Sadie had in Kate and for the first time allowed Kate to pick her up and take her to another room.
This morning I received a card signed by all at the surgery which had inside "with deepest sympathy for the loss of your companion". This was much appreciated. I would recoment this Veterinary Centre to any one for professionalism, approach, kindness, understanding and helpfulness at any time that I have had to require their services. Please keep up the good work.

"AVIAN VET"

This was my first visit to this Veterinary Centre having travelled from Luton Bedfordshire the reason for this visit My African Grey Parrot Monty had for several days had been unable stand on or feed himself with his right foot.
On closer observation it was obvious the reason being severe swelling both sides of the metal identity tag that was placed on his leg after his birth (He’s 11 now). This ring was embedded into his leg causing him great discomfort.
Having contacted many Veterinary Surgeries throughout Bedfordshire I was advised By Luton’s biggest Surgery the only Avian Vet known to then was Aston Clinton and they gave me a contact telephone Number.
Saturday P.M. 3rd Aug I immediately contacted this and was greeted with a welcoming Receptionist who informed that Ann the Avian Vet was not in till Monday and a late in the day appointment 6.30. P.m. 5th Aug was made. I needed this due to my work commitment.
On arrival at the Centre Reception I was introduced to Ann the Avian Vet she advised me the Ring on Monty’s leg would need to be removed and that she would need to drill cut in two places to enable its removal, Ann with the help of her assistant Amy proceeded to remove this solid metal (Bronze I Reckon) Identity band, Ann also explained the reasons that caused the swelling and infections.
After the Rings removal there was quite a bit of infection to the Leg. This was treated by Ann and was followed by 2 injections Pain and antibiotics.
The reason for this Review is to pass on my Respect for the Brilliant Service we were given, and this was for a fraction of my expected Expense.
Kind Regards
George Greene.
