Longmead Vets have been serving the local community in the Shaftesbury area for over sixty years. Our aim is to provide our clients with a caring, personal service and provide the highest standards of veterinary care. We treat all domestic pets.

"Our dog"

Excellent response to my phone call out of hours I was reassured that he was well enough to wait until the following morning to be seen. Then on phoning first thing the next morning a quick appointment was made . Reassuring us that our dog Zeus was not as poorly as we thought. Treated with ear drops and we were very pleased with the kind and caring treatment he received. Many thanks to all

"Emergency Treatment"

Or 10 month old 'Toller' was taken ill on Saturday morning and although we were visiting the area we contacted the practice and were immediately seen and the life threatening condition SRMA was diagnosed. Blood tests and a Spinal Tap were carried our followed by a nights stay at the practice. We were impressed by the friendly prompt and skilled expertise shown by the on-call Vet and the facilities we say. A big thank you to everyone involved at the practice.

Although our cat died we were very impressed with the caring and professional they dealt with the situation . We are getting a new kitten and will definitely be using them in the future
