 Longmead Vets have been serving the local community in the Shaftesbury area for over sixty years. Our aim is to provide our clients with a caring, personal service and provide the highest standards of veterinary care. We treat all domestic pets. The practice is a Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons accredited small animal practice which means we are regularly inspected to ensure quality of care.

The Shaftesbury and Wincanton surgeries have full hospitalisation and surgical facilities with separate dog and cat wards. We offer a 24 hour on-site emergency service 365 days a year at both surgeries.

We have the equipment and expertise to provide services that you will not find at every veterinary practice. These include laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and advanced orthopaedic surgery for the management of cruciate disease and complex fracture repair.
