"great vets"

Have been taking my dogs to Trevor and Tim for 16 years now. I think they are both excellent and would recommend to anyone new in the area looking for a top notch vet. The vet nurses are friendly and helpful too.

"Fantastic team of people"

My family and I have been taking our dogs to Northway Vetinary Centre for years now. They even seem to enjoy going! Probably because Trevor and Tim always give them a big doggy hello (a fuss and a stroke!) when they get there. One of our dogs, Oscar, had a serious injury last year and needed major surgery. They were fantastic and although they didn't perform the operation, their help in getting us to the right surgeon definitely saved his life. The whole team (vets and nurses) are all really friendly and clearly love what they do. Our latest pup has been a couple of times and is still getting used to it, but I think even he's realised now that going to the vets isn't that bad!!

"Excellent practice"

I had felt for some time that more could be done to help my dog's skin condition so I took the dog to Mr Dixon. He almost immediately diagnosed an under active thyroid which was confirmed after a blood test. The difference to the dog was amazing, from having to carry her most of the way on a walk, she ran the length of the local football pitch with me trailing in her wake. Other treatment has improved the skin & the condition has now become manageable. Mr Dixon always treats my animals with the utmost respect, just as though they were his own, and I frequently sing his praises to the dog walkers in my local park, although most of them are already aware of his concern and skill

"My expierece"

After using another vets in ormskirk for many years and being met with a unsympathetic, uncaring and defenatley a aggressive attitude!! I found myself in despair despite many years of service with the other vets in ormskirk I felt lost with no where to turn! By chance or fate I found myself at the northway vet centre where I was met by Tim! Who was the complete opposit to the above mentioned,I still have my lovely 9yr old dog thanks to this mans patience and true understanding of a vet.

"lovely friendly practice"

I can not fault this practice at all
one of my cats charlie had a long term problem that other vets did not seam to have s clue.
after one look at my charlie from mr dixon he new exactly what was wrong and how he should be treated. charlie and my other 2 cats had a thorough examinatin and left no stone unturned.
lovely friendly and careing towards the animals.
i also recieved lots of advise after my cats were treated
I will never use another vet again.
highly recommend ????????????
