"Pup"

Just fantastic

"dog"

I moved to helensburgh last year and a friend recommended this practice. I am glad they did. It is so friendly, professional, clean and the experience of the vets is very apparent. I have 2 dogs and used Boyce and Houston in Clydebank before moving to helensburgh. My dogs never had a proper dental check before from my previous vet and I was surprised how thorough these vets are. I had been using dental chews and thought they were adequate but Mr Craig advised me last year to change to brushing the teeth as my lurchers teeth were in poor condition. I seen a big improvement but it was too late for some of her teeth and she had to have some extractions this week. I was quoted a price beforehand and this remained the same even although more teeth had to come out than first antisipated. I am delighted with the treatment my pet got and even more so myself. Mr Craig even kept my dog until 10pm to make sure she was fully recovered from her anaesthetic, again at no extra cost. I highly recommend this practice and thank them for a fantastic service

"DW Craig Vet Practice G84 7RE"

Firstly, this practice also treats small animals!
I have lived in this area for 30+ years and have had a number of family pets over that time that, with one small exception when I lived outside Helensburgh, I have always taken to Mr Craig's practice.
It is located in a small building which has recently undergone some development after his lovely young daughter also joined the practice. Mr Craig is a wonderful vet. He has always treated my pets with warmth, compassion & professionalism. Every dog I know can be anxious visiting the vet, but Mr Craig is not only reassuring but understands when the dog needs a firm hand & tone to help control & reassure them. Whilst some people may not like the "drop-in" surgeries because of the waiting (he's a popular vet!), some of us find this reassuring. His daughter also joined the practice after qualifying as a vet and she also has her father's lovely professional & personal qualities & nature.
Every pet owner I know judges a vet by how they treat their beloved pet - this review is based on my personal experiences as a pet owner who has taken her pets to Mr Craig's surgery over many years!
