we would like to thank peter and all the staff at aardvark for their wonderful care of our beloved staffie taz who passed away on Saturday after a long battle with ill health we could not have asked for better care and kindness from anyone

"Brilliant vets"

Cannot fault this vets at all. Had to call them at 2am after our dog started vomiting blood because of eating ibuprofen. The vet met us within 20 minutes and got her straight onto a course of treatment to reduce the damage. The staff genuinely care about the animals they care for and are not all about making money. Our dog has retuned home today and is back to her old self. I was dreading the bill but couldn't believe how reasonable it was. Would recommend to anyone.

"Saying goodbyeto my cat"

I recently had to have my elderly cat put to sleep. Peter wasn't pushy, but still helped me make the decision in the best interests of the cat, who slipped away quickly and peacefully, without any stress or pain. It wasn't something I wanted to do, but I can't think of anyone I'd rather have helping me do it.

"Genuine and caring practice"

I have used Aardvark for many years. I first used this for our grumpy cat Archie, unpredictable feline but we loved him! This practice gave good care and displayed compassion when the decision was made to have Archie put to sleep. Our next cat Tilly was the best cat ever! Gentle , loving and a great companion. She lived to a great age but sadly had kidney problems and died in the cattery while we were away, this was indeed sad news to come home to. Aardvark collected her from the cattery and stored her till we returned home. This was done at no cost to us and was much appreciated. We were able to collect our cat and place her in her favourite spot in the garden . This happened 5 months ago , we still miss our friend but thank Aardvark for their care. Top vetinary practice.

"Great service"

This is a fantastic veterinary practice with a down to earth vet. Nothing is too much trouble and the prices are very terrifically reasonable. A great find. Ivan is a lovely, calm vet.

This practice is amazing.
The most caring,honest lovely people you could possibly meet to treat and look after your precious animals.
When you leave your treasured pet in their care you feel their safe and are going to get the best treatment they possibly could.
They are also very feeling towards very worried and upset owners.
At one particular time my daughter was so upset she had to stay in the car whilst my son took her dog in and one of the vets then went outside to the car to speak to her and reassure her it will be ok......I find that absolutely wonderful and never had more honest better care.

"fantastic"

I have used a couple of vets in my area,but been left dissapointed with care and prices.aardvark was recommended by a friend.i have never looked back.lovely caring vets,thorough but gentle.prices are excellent,you dont feel as if you've been ripped off,or told they need needless operations/treatment.i would never use any other vet now.does get really busy and the surgery is small and I agree with other comments that maybe a receptionist could be permanently there.but its still a great vets.

"Dog"

We have a staff cross puppy which is only 7 months but has been for many visits, she had demodex from the mum, she's had some dirt stuck in her eye, just had an ear infection and been spayed. Every time we have been the vets and nurses show a real care for our puppy and always make a fuss to make her feel happier. Have already recommended to 2 of our friends who live local and have moved there with their dogs. Always manage to fit you in.

Really lovely caring staff and very competitively priced. Used many times but does get vey busy and could do with a permanent receptionist as the nurse has to double up and do that job too and I have found my self waiting to pay etc but that said would always use this place

"Three dogs"

Ivan and team are amazing. One vet nurse is particularly brilliant and even remembers our details and knows our dogs.
We travel 12 miles because they are ace. We always feel we get value for money, sometimes follow up appointments aren't charged for.
Ivan is bluntly honest and loves animals. Animals come first here. Our Jack Russell lived approx 18 yrs thanks to them.
We will continue to visit with our other dogs and at £7.50 for an appointment you are truly animal lovers

"Cat"

Ivan and his team are simply wonderful . Caring and committed to looking after animals in their care. My cat Loki had come home sick OOH , Ivan agreed to see her immediately and kept her in to run tests. Loki was very poorly but they looked after her , were thorough with tests and she was soon back to her old self. You can tell animal care is a vocation for all at the practice , this is not just a job or a business. I'd recommend them to any pet owner .

"Fantastic vets"

I came to this vet to get my young rex rabbits nails cut, I came on a weekend and the wait was very short to be seen, the waiting area was very clean and also was the room in which my rabbit was seen. I took my rabbit in to see the vet, opened the travel bag and he scrabbled to get out and got very distressed as it was all a bit of a shock to him, however the vet was fantastic and told us to wait in the waiting area whilst he got the nurse to hold the rabbit and he cut the nails, so we did and within 30 seconds he called us back through to say he had finished the treatment and that my little rabbit was fine, he also explained why he might of been upset at first, and how he was fine in the treatment. we then went to pay and the cost was £2.80 but we didnt have the money on us (we only had card) and the nurse said dont worry well just sort it next time. brilliant vet, couldnt recommend more. thank you aardvark, you have my trust.

Been going here for years. They take superb care of my cats with respect, professionalism and care that is often lacking in other practices I've been to. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

my dog ouzo was so ill with an eye infection and nearly lost her eye, didn't due to the patience and care received, then she suddenly had intestinal troubles and once again with the considerate care and knowledge my little dog made it, thanks is not enough.
