"Great vet Oscar"

I took my cat to the Boldon surgery as he was very poorly. The vet Oscar was very thorough in his examination and gave a diagnosis and treatment. Over the next few days my cats health improved. A couple of days later the vet called me to ask how my cat was doing which l thought was really thoughtful and professional. Would highly recommend this veterinary service.
Only feedback for improvement is the outside of the surgery is very untidy and unkept.

"Merlin"

Our young Maincoon Merlin had to be put to sleep on 15th July due to sudden diagnosis of Lymphoma. I took him due to stomach pain he developed. He wasn't putting on weight as maincoons usually do we thought he would just be like his mother. The vet examined him and suggested blood tests. These showed no abnormalities I was still concerned and suspected tumour due to him not putting on weight. The Vet gives us 3 options and was very supportive whatever steps came next. After surgery it was found he did have tumour and that Lymphoma had spread to other organs. The only hand way was to put Merlin asleep.

The reception staff helped with the paperwork as I have never dealt with this before. I received Merlin ashes on Saturday in a lovely Carved wooden cat casket that we picked for him. This was presented to me on a box with verse on front and Merlins name and family name also a sympathy card inside both of which we weren't expecting but made that visit to pick him up more bearable.

Thank you to all at Willows Vets at Chichester. South Shields. Your thoughts and Care on our recent loss.
It shows how having adequate Health Insurance takes away some of the burden when things happen suddenly. Merlin was only 2 in May. We thought he was here for years to come. He was a healthy kitten. Had all his injection and an indoor cat.

"Pet and People Friendly"

I have nothing but praise for everyone at both practices. My pets and I are always greeted and treated with friendliness and compassion and nothing is too much for them.I had to say "Goodbye" to a sweet old friend and both she and I received warmth and respect at the very end. Thank you all.

"Lucy"

Our cat took ill this week, and we have only praise for the staff and vets in this practice. They were caring and honest with us and although we ended up losing our dear pet we felt we were treated with great respect.

"My Teddy"

We are currently going through tough times with our boy Teddy! This surgery has been unbelievable. Katherine, our vet, has been honest and caring from the beginning. The reception staff have been so understanding and friendly. One in particular who took the time to hand feed Ted. We normally use Willows in Boldon but due to this being urgent we were referred to Stanhope rd. both surgeries are five star with the treatment of animals!! My mum has two dogs and also speaks very highly of these surgeries!

"General"

I have many animals and the staff here are wonderful even with the ginger whinger!

"Dogs"

I have three dogs, two of whom have complicated medical issues and two cats. I have nothing but praise for the way they and I am treated. Nothing is too much trouble and I know that my pets are always in safe hands.
