"Care for cat"

Excellent care given by everyone to our cat recently .would recommend pinewood to anyone looking for a veterinary practice

"Brilliant Practice all round ..."

We've had our cat and two dogs with Pinewood for several years, and all the vets, nurses and receptionists have been brilliant. Our cat was not easy to love - a massive panther-of-an-animal, he virtually always took lumps out of everyone and yet was always dealt with extremely respectfully. Even his recent euthanasia due to cancer was handled with incredible, incredible care and with Kevin on reception handling my blubbing on arrival with "here's tissues! Come on, it's ok ...". Barney-cat took a huge lump out of Nicola, one of the nurses, whilst being uncrated who simply responded with care to him and "it's ok! I've had worse ...". Andrea, Head of Veterinary Nursing, had already called me and talked me through (in a very kind way) what would happen, costs, and options for afterwards including discussing options for the vets to come on a home visit if preferable. Barney-cat was an amazing but very dysfunctional animal, and it was wonderful for him to be dealt with such respect.

Beautiful surgery was also done on our Bichon, Bertie, to remove a small growth and the scar was a work of art and has now completely disappeared. He had already been the star of the show with all at Pinewood pulling him through weeks of care (including as an in-patient) following a serious gastric infection. An emergency vet had warned us there was a 70-80% chance we would lose him, but everyone at Pinewood pulled him through with tremendous care. I can't speak highly enough of the practice as a whole, and if there were more stars I'd award them. **Thank you, Pinewood!**

"Laddie"

Confident and pleasant staff welcomed Laddie and I, sweets and treats for us both, a clearly explained diagnosis, with reaons given for medication choices, humour and a beautiful connection with my border collie Laddie, who showed he was comfortable with his vet.
A fair price too, to complete our visit.
