General information about this Surgery
.
Pets Naturally at Chepstow Corner, in the heart of fashionable Notting Hill, opened its doors in the autumn of 2008.

Our Surgery
Providing a refreshingly peaceful environment, the surgery is fully equipped with the most modern equipment, and offers air-conditioned facilities for all pets, with separate accommodation for dogs and cats. The clinic provides conventional diagnosis and treatment, surgery (including orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery), radiography, dentistry, complementary medicine, pet passports, pet insurance, pet health plans, home visits, a pharmacy and food sales - plus a full 24-hour emergency service at Chepstow Corner.

Peter Culpin
Clinical Director, Peter Culpin BSc MA VetMB MRCVS, qualified from Cambridge in 1977 and ran a very successful practice in Leatherhead, Surrey before moving to London in 2004. He was given the RSPCA Merit Award, for services to the RSPCA, in 1996 and has over 30 years experience in conventional medicine and surgery, as well as more than 15 years experience in homeopathy. Peter is also a Local Veterinary Inspector for DEFRA, and able to issue pet passports.

Gordon's Turkeys
Peter has treated a wide number of species, including wildlife, and has written numerous articles for magazines as well as appearing on various TV programmes, including several episodes of Wildlife SOS, and the infamous Gordon Ramsay's 'F' Word, where he was responsible for the health of Ainsley, Anthony, Gary, Jamie, Delia and Nigella - the Christmas turkeys Gordon reared in his back garden.

Going to the Dogs
Often criticised as outspoken by his fellow professionals, Peter has just completed his first book 'Going to the Dogs' - an expose of what it was like for him to work as a locum in other vets' practices over the last four years.
In addition to the clinic in Notting Hill, Pets Naturally also runs its own pet insurance scheme and is fully authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.

Pets Naturally Foundation
Pets Naturally's profits are donated to The Pets Naturally Foundation, which, in 2008, launched the 'Cool Award' to encourage the whole of the pet industry to think carefully about its carbon emissions. The climate change resulting from the millions of tonnes of carbon emissions generated by just the world's pet food manufacturers alone, is driving many of the world's indigenous species to extinction. If you add to that all the energy requirements for every veterinary practice, pet shop, groomers and boarding establishments, as well as the manufacture of millions of accessories all over the world and the consequent shipping costs, the damage to the earth's wildlife is colossal.
The Foundation's message to the pet industry is
"Pet Ownership Shouldn't Cost The Earth"
Any product or service bearing the 'Cool Award' will have proved to us that the carbon emissions related to it are zero.

Carbon Neutral
The Pets Naturally surgery operates a 'carbon neutral' policy. Our electricity is produced from growing tomatoes by GreenEnergy.co.uk, and we aim to be paper free. Any paper we do use is either recycled or from renewable sources.
Even our poo bags are biodegradable!
