Welcome to the North Downs Specialist Referrals page. North Downs Specialist Referrals (NDSR) is a specialist veterinary hospital. All of our veterinary staff are trained to the highest possible level and indeed many have been or are responsible for training or examining other veterinary surgeons who wish to become more qualified or experienced in their particular favourite field. This means that if your pet is referred to NDSR, you can be confident that you and your pet will receive the most appropriate and best possible veterinary care. When there are multiple possible ways of managing a complicated problem, as is so often the case, you can expect to be offered detailed explanations of your options and to be helped through the decision making process.

North Downs Specialist Referrals is located in Surrey in the South East of England. As one of the largest private referral centres in the UK we provide specialist consultations in all the major fields of veterinary medicine. All of our specialists have trained extensively and have considerable clinical experience in their fields. We are a centre of clinical excellence and provide a professional and caring service for clients and their pets.

We regret we are unable to offer advice to owners of cases which are not under our care. To be registered with us, your pet must be referred to us by your regular veterinary surgeon. If you would like to be referred please discuss this with your veterinary surgeon. We can and do give advice freely to our veterinary colleagues in first and second opinion practice.
