"Merlin Vets in the Scottish Borders"

We have been taking our dogs to Merlin for 11 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. People have told me that they use a cheaper vet but we find Merlin to be pretty average in costs. However, the service they provide is top notch and they are always happy to chat with you about any concerns about your pet, even over the phone. They are also very prompt regarding out of hours emergencies. All the vets are brilliant with the animals and people too! When our old girl Zara was suffering and we knew it was time for her to go Colin was so gentle with her and us. He allowed us time to say goodbye and to help her cope with passing. Then he respectfully wrapped her in a shroud so we could take her home to bury her in the garden. I will never forget the kindness he showed to both her and us.
