General information about this Surgery
Martin Referrals is one of the UK's leading veterinary cardiorespiratory centres for the diagnosis of heart and lung disease in dogs and cats. Indeed, it is the only specialist veterinary cardiology centre outside of the veterinary schools registered by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). The centre has a team of three vets who have all gained the Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology.

The first port of call if your pet gets ill is always your usual vet. However, heart and lung disease is a complex area of veterinary medicine, one which may require specialist knowledge and experience for successful diagnosis and treatment.

If you are unfortunate enough to have a pet diagnosed with heart or lung problems, you might like to ask your vet to refer your pet to the centre. If you do, you can rest assured that they'll be in expert hands.
