"Highest quality care"

Our dog, Mina, was recently rushed in having collapsed at home. We were met in the car park and escorted in for immediate diagnostic tests which revealed a catastrophically low blood sugar requiring resuscitation with a glucose infusion. Thereafter, tests confirmed presence of a rare, insulin secreting tumour. Mina required a couple of admissions for unstable blood sugars, and then underwent surgery. Her post-operative course has been quite stormy, but she is slowly improving.
From the first, the care received has been exemplary. The reception staff have been extremely kind and responsive and the nurses and vets have been unstinting in providing care and information. Special mention has to go to Sarah Packman who not only saved Mina's life initially, but whose skill and support in terms of communicating with us, has been hugely appreciated. Sarah even undertook Mina's post op check as a home visit, to reduce stress for the dog. Her kindly, cheerful and thoughtful approach to each minute detail of care, along with consummate professionalism has cushioned both Mina and us through the whole experience. we extend our warmest thanks to all at Larkmead, Didcot.

"Fantastic Vets"

My cat has an on going eye problem and she hated going to the vets, recently moved to Didcot so we went to Larkmead who had got all her notes within a few hours of me making the appointment. After a lo g chat they advised me on how to help distress my cat and started new medication. We walked away with more medication and some great advice and it didnt break the bank! All my babies will now be going to this vets.

"vets"

all my dogs and cats over their lives have received the love care and attention and professionalism and skill which I only wish I received when I went into doctors /hospital.
they are worth the fees they have received from us for 2 dogs ( both deceased) and similar no of cats.I trust them implicitly to do the right thing. For a lawyer such as I that is earned trust indeed,
