"Appreciation"

Together with my son, George and his dog Spark, we attended the practice last Saturday 9th July, as the time had come to say farewell to our much loved friend.
It was quite a upsetting experience especially for George..
May I take this opportunity to thank all the staff but, in particular, the lady vet who dealt with us with care and sympathy throughout what was a harrowing time.
Many, many thanks

"Dog"

My gorgeous westie Oscar has got a tumour in his bladder. I was referred to the liverpool teaching hospital to see an oncologist and took there advice to have chemo. Oscar had one treatment and had a terrible reaction to it after a few days. I took him to the Rufford vets who admitted him and gave him the most incredible care, love and attention, I really thought I was going to lose him. I can't thank and recommend this vets enough, they gave me lots of updates on him, let me go and visit him, nothing was to much trouble. He has come home today for the weekend and needs to go back on Monday for a check up. Ive decided on no more chemo for Oscar and I'm just going to give him the best quality of life for as long as he has left with the help of these lovely people, and I know that when the time comes to say goodbye to him, rufford vets will treat him with the love and dignity that he deserves, he couldn't be in better hands .

"Rescue"

Hi,I have recently changed Vets to Hey and Greenwood and I have to say I am absolutely delighted with all aspects of the practice.Unfortunately I had to have two horses put to sleep and the sensitivity and caring attitude of both Vets made the difficult situation calm, efficient and done with feeling. In August my beautiful boy Badger escaped and to my relief was found, stuck fast in a ditch, after 14 hours of searching.Stef came to help with the rescue and her calm and I have to say Jolly nature( taking selfies with Fire crew!) made things run smoothly and gave one very scared owner,a lot of support. In the short time I have been a client,I have literally been gobsmacked,by their sheer understanding of a very difficult situation easier for me to deal with.Though I was satisfied with my previous Vets,I do think Hey and Greenwood really do show, that its not just a business, with clients. Its a practice where everyone goes out of their way,to help with every situation.Thank you.xxxxx

"Colicky horse"

I have received a fantastic service (as always) prompt attendance 2 nights running and great down to earth attitude grateful thanks to Shona who got the pony comfortable in no time at all

"Saved my dog"

I took my very very sick dog to Rufford Vets on a Sunday morning having never used them before, my 4 year old Bichon Frise suddenly went very llathargic and floppy they told me to go there within the hour, the vet that saw her told us that she needed to stay and she would call us later with an update, she called us a few hours later to let us know that Layla's blood count was seriously low and offered to use her own dog to give her a blood transfusion which she did, fortunately for us she is now back home after a frantic few days, we as a family are so grateful for the love, care, expertise and the way one particular vet went above and beyond her duty to ensure she did everything she could for Layla, in fact saving her life. The staff were absolutely fantastic.

"saved my pony"

Fantastic can't say a bad word excellent vets

"service at vets"

Excellent veterinary practice which I only stumbled upon by accident. Their service is excellent, their rates are reasonable and their expertise is impressive. Mr Fraser is my regular vet and he is the best general vet I've ever met.
