We provide specialist large animal veterinary services for cattle.
David Taylor Veterinary Services Ltd exclusively deals with dairy farms. We operate contracts based on a per-head or per-litre basis. With "all in" contracts there is no limit on call outs or time. Existing clients use the "all-in" contract and still pay less for on farm time than they did with previous vet practices. Fixed price contracts mean that vet involvement on farm is second to none. Other servcies provided include on farm mastitis bacteriology which allows clients to diagnose the cause of mastitis within 24 hours at a cost of ?1 (or less!) per sample. Also, as well as the usual fertility checks We can manage fresh-cow and DCAB transition programmes and assess "cow indicators" such as cleanliness, gut fill and fibre digestion to get each herd running at an optimum level. DTVS Ltd is all about getting the vet on farm and involved at a reasonable cost.
However, DTVS Ltd not only provides a fantastic service; we make no profits on medicine (inc. POM) sales so all wholesaler and manufacturer discounts are passed onto clients.
