Purton Veterinary Group is a small animal practice based in Purton with a branch surgery in Cricklade. We offer our clients a “Partnership in lifelong care” giving the very best of first opinion small animal veterinary care. Our emphasis is on helping you care for your pet rather than dictating what you should do.
The practice was established in 1985 and specialises in companion animals. We have 3 full time veterinary surgeons supported by a dedicated nursing team. As a veterinary nurse training practice all our nurses and animal care assistants are either qualified or training. They are all registered with the British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) and are recognised as having the appropriate skills to care for your pet. This is important as not all veterinary practices use qualified nurses. Our administrative staff offer a high level of customer care.
Our consultations are 15 minutes long (30% longer than the national average), giving your pet time to be fully assessed and time for you to understand any diagnosis and recommendations. The nursing team offer a wide range of clinics and give half hour consultations to puppy and kitten owners, keeping them fully informed on all the care required in that important first year. We pride ourselves in always being here to help you, and invite you to join us in a Partnership of Lifelong Care.
