General information about this Surgery
Carmarthen Veterinary Centre is a Tier 3 RCVS accredited small animal hospital serving Carmarthenshire and West Wales, together with a RCVS accredited farm and equine practice. The small animal department has a team of 6 vets, 2 of whom hold advanced qualifications in Soft Tissue Injuries and Orthopaedics. Our nurses are on site 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, ensuring that pets receive the highest possible standards of care and attention – and cuddles.
Our experienced and dedicated farm vets provide routine scanning and herd health programs for both dairy and beef farms. We have dedicated facilities for difficult lambing, stocks, a knock-down box and stabling for horses, calf pens etc. We also serve the equine community and one of our equine vets also holds an advanced qualification.
Conveniently located in purpose built premises just outside Carmarthen, close to the Park and Ride bus stop, we have a large car park and easy access, including disabled. Small Animal ambulance service available for collection and return of pets – free within 5 mile radius.
24 hour emergency service provided for farm, equine and small animals – by our own vets.
